Have you ever wondered about swimming around all of the amazing sea creatures such as colourful corals and seals?  Our OPEN WATER COURSE will be the first step to help you achieve your dream.

You will commence the course with a group of 4 students (minimum) per 1 instructor.  Upon completion, you will learn how to properly and safely breathe underwater and gain experiences through a series of theoretical and practical training.

Course outline (subject to change depends on the weather or other reasons)

Orientation Night:

• 1 x night of orientation to provide relevant information and the whole course schedule followed by a GEAR FITTING session that would be used during the course.
• The Orientation Night is usually held on Thursday or Friday on the same week / before the first day of the course (Sat), and it usually takes a minimum of 3 hours.

• Course duration: Two weekends (Total 3 days)
• You’ll take part in exciting entry-level diving activities which will be divided into 3 segments: Academic theory training, Confined pool training, and Open water training.
• Academic theory training: Learn basic principles and gain the knowledge you need for fun safe and fun scuba diving.
• Confined pool training: Discover 20 basic skills of diving during a practical diving lesson (Locations to be confirmed).
• Open Water training: Demonstrate your scuba diving skills while exploring the beautiful diving environment around Melbourne.
• 4 x open water dives – Mostly happen in Mornington Peninsula area.
• Once you complete the course, you will be awarded your PADI Open Water Certification card, allowing you to dive to a depth of 12 meters to 18 meters (depending on the ages) throughout the world.
• It will also allow you to hire scuba diving equipment from dive stores. The PADI Open Water Certification is valid for life, so you can scuba wherever, whenever.

Course fee

$850 ($200 Deposit) which has to be paid before the Course Orientation Night.

Not includes

• Transportation to move site to site
• Extra sessions fee for facilities (Eg. pool, boats if it requires to complete the course)

Refund policy

• 100% full refund before Orientation Day.
• 50% of full payment refund 3days before the course start date.
• Refund is not available 2days or less before the course start, however, the credit will be issued and can be used within 1 year (when the schedule is available).

• Requires a minimum of 4 students to run the course (Automatically postponed to next OW course if there are less than 4 students each course).
• OW Students must be able to attend all full course days, from 8am to 5pm.
• OW Students are required to fill provided a medical declaration of anything ticked yes on the list.
