Frequently asked questions

You do not need to be a strong swimmer in order to be able to do an introduction Dive, however you do need to be comfortable in water. For courses you are required to be able to swim 200m continuously and to float unassisted for 10 minutes.

We recommend bringing a towel, sunblock, sunglasses and some money for any additional or souvenir purchases.  You may also want to bring a travel pillow or entertainment as we get to spend some time during transport.

Most medical conditions do not prohibit you from diving, however you will need signed medical dive clearance.

If you wear contact lenses diving is no problem at all. For those who only wear glasses, with advanced native we can arrange to purchase a mask with magnified lenses on your behalf.

Anyone over the age of 10 can learn to dive.
